Beginning in November 2026, the City of Toronto and the TTC will begin construction on King Street West between Portland Street and Spadina Avenue. The project is expected to take approximately 10 months to complete and includes replacing the 112-year-old watermains on both the north and south sides of the street, as well as replacing the streetcar tracks.
